At Saint Petersburg Economic Forum Government of Saint Petersburg and Chemical Reagents Plant made an agreement to establish Water and Sewage Treatment Materials Development and Production Centre. The document was signed by governor Georgiy Poltavchenko and general director of Chemical Reagents Plant Mikhail Pelekhov.
Water and Sewage Treatment Materials Development and Production Centre project is one of priority projects executed by Cluster of Water Supply and Water Disposal and approved by the Investment Council under governor of Saint Petersburg. Since 2015 Zavod Khimicheskikh Reagentov ltd. has been a founder member enterprise of Cluster’s industrial segment. The company is among leaders of Russian market of inorganic coagulum for water and sewage treatment.
As a part of the project it is planned to produce chemicals for drink water preparation, sewage treatment, aqueous aluminum sulfate solution, aqueous trivalent ferric sulfate solution, aqueous aluminium chlorohydrate solution and mixed chemicals based on aluminum sulfate.
Unique character inherent in the project is not only launch of modern and safe chemicals production but also establishment of the research and development centre that serve the interests of water treatment and industrial enterprises in Northwestern Federal District.
