SUE Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg is conducting a project titled “Construction of intercepting sewage network for redirection of combined and utility discharges into Karpovka river in Petrogradskiy district”. The project includes redirection of 15 combined and household discharges with total flow of 766 500 cm per year (2 000 cm per day). Besides, provisions to redirect related surface inlets into Karpovka are made.
Visitors of Water museum took part in one of the most interesting interactive programmes called “Make It Hot”. They could get acquainted with extraordinary employees of Vodokanal – cancers – and learn about water purification technologies, household pollution types and how snails and cancers help people control air and water quality.

At Saint Petersburg Economic Forum Government of Saint Petersburg and Chemical Reagents Plant made an agreement to establish Water and Sewage Treatment Materials Development and Production Centre. The document was signed by governor Georgiy Poltavchenko and general director of Chemical Reagents Plant Mikhail Pelekhov.
Aquatherm St. Petersburg 2017 is a specialised exhibition hosting equipment for heating, water supply, ventilation, air conditioning and technologies for pools. It was opened in ExpoForum on 19 April.
